Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & Sundarban Introduction
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Pickup from Kolkata (Howrah Railway Station or Airport) by AC bus. Drive towards Godkhali, the gateway to Sundarbans. Breakfast and tea break on the way.
10:00 AM: Arrival at Godkhali and boarding the exclusive boat. Welcome drinks (Tender Coconut Water) will be served. Enjoy a 1.5-hour scenic boat ride with tea, coffee, cookies, and light refreshments.
1:30 PM: Lunch will be served.
2:00 PM: Arrival at the hotel located near the Sundarban Tiger Reserve surrounded by beautiful village landscapes and river breeze.
4:00 PM: Short introductory boat ride to the Sundarban Bird Jungle with a mesmerizing sunset view. Return to the hotel around 6 PM.
7:00 PM: Local folk dance program followed by complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks.
8:00 PM: Bonfire (winter season only).
10:00 PM: Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Jungle Safari Adventure
8:00 AM: Start Sundarban delta boat safari.
8:30 AM: Jungle safari begins at Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve guided by a government tourist guide.
9:30 AM: Explore rivers, islands, and narrow creeks including Pirkhali, Banbibi Varani, Sundarkhali, Khonakhali, Choragaji, Deualvarani, SarakKhali, Gazikhali, Nobanki, and Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower.
Wildlife sightings may include spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boars, snakes, water monitor lizards, birds, and if lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger.
12:30 PM: Visit Do-Banki Watch Tower and enjoy the famous 896-meter canopy walk which offers a safe netted wildlife observation experience.
1:30 PM: Visit Panchamukhni – the beautiful five river junction.
5:00 PM: Return to Pakhiralay after the exciting Sundarban safari.
10:00 PM: Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 3 – Village Walk & Return Journey
9:30 AM: After breakfast enjoy a local village walk experience where you can explore traditional Sundarban lifestyle.
Visit Hamilton Bungalow and Rabindranath Tagore Bungalow.
After sightseeing, transfer by boat to reach the vehicle and begin the return journey to Kolkata. Lunch will be provided on the way.
4:00 – 5:00 PM: Arrival in Kolkata.
