Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Day 1 – Sundarban Journey
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Pick up from Godkhali by exclusive boat with welcome drinks (Tender Coconut Water). Enjoy a 1.5-hour boat journey with tea, coffee, cookies and light refreshments.
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Lunch will be served on the boat.
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Arrival near Sajnekhali office, located opposite the Sundarban Tiger Reserve surrounded by forests, rivers and peaceful village life.
4:00 PM: Short boat ride to the Sundarban Bird Jungle with a beautiful sunset view.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Local folk dance performance followed by complimentary tea, coffee and snacks.
8:00 PM: Bonfire (Winter Season Only).
10:00 PM: Dinner and overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 2 – Jungle Safari Adventure
8:00 AM: Start the Sundarban delta safari.
8:30 AM: Jungle safari with a Government tourist guide at Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve.
9:30 AM: Thrilling boat safari through rivers, islands and creeks including Pirkhali, Banbibi Varani, Sundarkhali, Khonakhali, Choragaji, Deulvarani, SarakKhali, Gazikhali, Nobanki and Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower.
You may spot wildlife such as spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boars, snakes, water monitor lizards, various birds and even the Royal Bengal Tiger if you are lucky.
12:30 PM: Visit Do-Banki Tiger Reserve area and watch tower. The 896-meter canopy walk gives an excellent opportunity to observe wildlife.
1:30 PM: Visit Panchamukhni – the junction of five rivers.
5:00 PM: After the thrilling safari the boat reaches near Pakhiralay.
10:00 PM: Dinner will be served.
Day 3 – Village Experience & Return
9:30 AM: After breakfast enjoy a walk through the local village to experience rural life in the Sundarbans.
Later visit Hamilton Bungalow and Rabindranath Tagore Bungalow.
The boat then returns to Godkhali ferry ghat and transfer back to Kolkata. Lunch will be provided on the way.
