Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & Sundarban Introduction
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Pickup from Indian Museum Main Gate near Park Street Metro (reporting time 8:00 AM, departure 8:30 AM). Second pickup from P.C. Chandra Garden Gate No.1, Science City (reporting time 8:30 AM, departure 9:00 AM). Travel by AC vehicle towards Godhkhali with a breakfast tea break on the way.
2:30 PM: Arrival at the hotel near Sundarban Tiger Reserve surrounded by village landscapes and river breeze.
4:00 PM: Boat ride introduction to the Sundarban Bird Jungle and sunset experience. Return to the hotel around 6 PM.
7:00 PM: Local folk dance with complimentary snacks and tea/coffee.
8:00 PM: Bonfire and music (winter season only).
10:00 PM: Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Jungle Safari Adventure
8:00 AM: Start Sundarban delta boat safari.
8:30 AM: Guided jungle safari at Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve with government tourist guide.
9:30 AM: Explore rivers, islands, and creeks including Pirkhali, Banbibi Varani, Sundarkhali, Khonakhali, Choragaji, Deualvarani, SarakKhali, Gazikhali, Nobanki, and Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. Wildlife sightings may include spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boars, snakes, water monitor lizards, birds, and possibly the Royal Bengal Tiger.
12:30 PM: Visit Do-Banki Watch Tower and enjoy the 896-meter canopy walk for wildlife observation.
1:30 PM: Visit Panchamukhni (five river junction).
5:00 PM: Return to Pakhiralay after the thrilling safari.
10:00 PM: Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 – Village Walk & Return Journey
9:30 AM: After breakfast enjoy a local village walk experience. Later visit Hamilton Bungalow and Rabindranath Tagore Bungalow.
Transfer by boat back to the vehicle and return journey to Kolkata with lunch provided on the way.
4:00 – 5:00 PM: Arrival in Kolkata.
